Hair Surgery Procedure

Ever wondered where and how hair surgery started? Well, here's a brief history of how the technique came to be. From here we will know how far we are in the development of surgery.

The nature of male pattern baldness is the underlying basis of hair transplantation. It was also used to predict treatment programs for each pattern and heavy. The work of Norwood, Ayers, and Stough defined candidates for hair transplant and state-of-the-art methodology for the 1960s and 1970s with the parachutes, sizes and patterns of graft replacement. Objective observations of Dr. Walter Unger, one with hair meticulously defined, the ideal size of the graft from 4.0 to 4.5 mm for maximum hair transplant surgeons growth. In addition, certain patterns for optimal aesthetic results were evaluated. Photomicrograph shown by Dr. Tom Alt clearly defines the ideal which grafts and techniques necessary to produce this ideal were transplants. Innovators such evils developed the approach of micrografts (1-3 follicles) or mini grafts (3-8 follicles) to improve the natural appearance of the grafts.
